Troubleshooting

If you are having issues logging into your Internet Banking it may be due to “Cache” or “Cookies” issues.

Below are some instructions to reset these settings, which may fix your Internet Banking problem. If you are still having issues after troubleshooting these tips, please contact us.

 

Caching Issues

Try to refresh your computer by pressing the CTRL and F5 keys together.

If this does not work, you can clear your computer browser’s cache. Please note that this may remove any stored log in or password details you have stored on websites.

  • How do I clear my browser cache on Google Chrome?
    1. On your computer, open Chrome
    2. Click the 3 dots in the top right hand corner of the screen and select Settings or by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Delete keys together
    3. Click More tools > Clear browsing data
    4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time
    5. Next to Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, check the boxes
    6. Click Clear data
    7. Restart Google Chrome
  • How do I clear my browser cache on Safari?
    1. Open your computer, open Safari
    2. Click on the Safari drop-down menu and select Preferences
    3. Click the Advanced tab
    4. Select the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox and close the Preferences window
    5. Select the Develop drop-down menu
    6. Click Empty Cache
    7. Note: You may want to also clear your browser history
    8. Restart Safari
  • How do I clear my browser cache on Mozilla Firefox?
    1.  On your computer, open Firefox
    2. Click the menu button and select Options
    3. Select the Privacy & Security panel
    4. In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data…
    5. Remove the check mark in front of Cookies and Site Data...
    6. With Cached Web Content check marked, click the Clear button
    7. Restart Firefox
  • How do I clear my browser cache on Internet Explorer & Edge?
    1. Open Internet Explorer 11 or Edge
    2. Click the Settings icon (top right corner) and click Safety
    3. Click Delete browsing history
    4. Check the Temporary Internet files and website files option
    5. Click Delete
    6. A confirmation message should appear
    7. Restart Internet Explorer 11

Cookie issues

You can choose to change your browser’s cookie settings via your browser privacy settings, including blocking the use of cookies. However, if you choose to delete or block cookies, your experience on our Internet Banking may limited.
