Card PIN

  • How do I select or change my card PIN?

    To select or change a PIN, please follow the steps:

    • Login to Internet Banking
    • Select Services
    • Select Card PIN Select
    • Select your card
    • Click on the keypad tool to select and confirm your PIN
    • Click Get SMS button and enter the one time password you receive via SMS
    • Click Select PIN button
    • You will receive confirmation of the PIN change pop up on screen

    Note, you can also select or change your PIN via our mobile banking app.

  • How do I choose a secure PIN?

    You should keep your PIN a secret. You should avoid using a PIN that contains repeated characters (like 1111) or digits in sequence (like 1234), and you should not select numbers that are based on discoverable information e.g. a birthday, licence number, postcode or telephone number.

    You can choose to have a PIN with more than 4 digits; however some countries and companies only accept 4 digit PIN numbers. If you have a longer PIN, some of your transactions may not be successful.

  • Do I need to know my existing PIN to select a new one?

    No. You do not need to know your existing PIN to select a new one.

  • Is changing my PIN on Internet Banking secure?
    Yes. Find out more about how we protect you and how to protect yourself online.
  • Will there be a cost involved in selecting my new PIN?

    No. Changing your card PIN online is free of charge.

  • I’m overseas and cannot receive text messages, what do I do?

    You will not be able to receive a One Time Password when using an international mobile number. You may be able to receive SMS to an Australian number while overseas; check with your mobile phone provider to confirm availability and cost.

What should I do if I have trouble changing my Card PIN online?

Below are some common reasons for not being able to change your card PIN online and steps you can take.

Card Security and Replacements

  • How do I lock my card from all transactions?

    You cannot lock your card via Internet Banking, however you can via our Mobile Banking App:

    1. Login to the Mobile Banking App
    2. Select Cards
    3. Swipe to find your Card
    4. Tap on Lock Card
    5. A success message will appear confirming your card will be locked from all purchases and withdrawals.

    To unlock your card, simply tap Unlock Card and a success message will appear confirming the card has been unlocked and you can make purchases and withdrawals.

  • I’ve lost my card, how do I lock my card and order a new one?

    You cannot lock your card via Internet Banking, however you can via our Mobile Banking App:

    1. Login to the Mobile Banking App
    2. Select Cards
    3. Swipe to find your Card
    4. Select Need help with your card?
    5. Select Lost your card?
    6. Select if you would like a replacement card
    7. Your card will be stopped immediately  
  • My card has been stolen, how do I cancel it?

    You cannot lock your card via Internet Banking, however you can via our Mobile Banking App:

    1. Login to the Mobile Banking App
    2. Select Cards
    3. Swipe to find your Card
    4. Select Need help with your card?
    5. Select Card been stolen?
    6. Select if you would like a replacement card
    7. Your card will be stopped immediately  
  • My card is damaged, how do I order a replacement?

    You cannot lock your card via Internet Banking, however you can via our Mobile Banking App:

    1. Login to the Mobile Banking App
    2. Select Cards
    3. Swipe to find your Card
    4. Select Need help with your card?
    5. Select Damaged your card?
    6. Confirm you’d like to receive a replacement card
    7. A replacement card will be ordered
