Congratulations Elsbeth

The Board of Snow Star Credit Union congratulates Elsbeth Torelli on her promotion to G&C Mutual Bank as their Chief Operating Officer.

Snow Star Credit Union has been very well served by Elsbeth for over 37 years. She has dedicated her professional life to our Bank and customers, and those of you who know her would have noticed her attention to detail, her professional approach and her highly developed work ethic.

Elsbeth has been the epitome of our values as she has demonstrated continued caring for her staff as well as our customers and has always supported and advised with compassion and wise counsel. Elsbeth will be sorely missed by her peers as well as Directors but we are very excited for her for this new and challenging opportunity.

Elsbeth has held many executive positions with us over the years and is currently our Chief Risk Officer. She has also been very involved with the wider mutual bank sector through relationships with the BCCM (Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals) and COBA (Customer Owned Banking Association) and is currently on the Board of the latter. She is also a Director of Traditional Credit Union operating out of Darwin.

Elsbeth leaves us in late January to take up her new role and we wish her all the very best in this future undertaking.
